Irish National Nail Tech wins IMAGE award

Former Irish National Nail Tech, Amie Pike, has been named Best Nail Technician at this year's Image Business of Beauty Awards.
Amie, owner of AP Fashion Nails & Beauty in Dublin, was presented with the award at one of the biggest nights in the Irish beauty calendar.
Amie, who won the Irish National Tech 2017 at the Irish Beauty Show, told Irish Beauty:
“I'm delighted to have won Imagine magazine Business of Beauty Nail Tech of the Year! This is probably the best award any nail tech could win in Ireland! I was shocked to be even nominated for this award, as it's not the public's choice; the magazine and a panel of judges pick only the best in Ireland to be nominated.
“It was an honour to be up next to some amazing well known nail techs. Most of these super talented girls are up every year for this award and have won! Then for me, little miss nobody, first time up, to actually go and win!!! Honestly I think I'm still on cloud nine! I can't believe I won!
“I have all my clients to thank who took the time to vote for me; it's so heart-warming to have everyone's support, it really is! I didn't think anything else could top my career but this has blown it all away!”
Amie won the award ahead of Rebecca McParland of Tropical Popical and Sarah Gaynor of Sarah Gaynor Nails, both also in Dublin.
