How much will your clients spend over summer?

Beauty lovers in Limerick spend the most on their pre-holiday prep, on average almost €70 at their hair or beauty salons in the summer months.

Clients in Sligo are not far behind spending €64.50, followed by Dubliners with a spend of €62.48 per client.

According to research carried out by salon software firm Phorest, the average spend in salons by clients prepping for their summer holiday is €49.43 each. The country's lowest spending region is Monaghan at €37.64 per client.

An estimated 350,346 appointments are booked in Irish salons over the summer months, say the company. Ronan Perceval, CEO, Phorest Salon Software, adds:

“Despite the fact we can't get away to warmer climates this year, it's fantastic to see us making the most of the beautiful holiday destinations across Ireland, and of course turning to our local salons to look our best for the Insta snaps.”
