Salon software provider Phorest recently hosted their seventh annual Salon Owners Summit, the first in-person event since the pandemic.

Over 600 salon and spa owners from across the globe attended the event, held at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.

Delegates enjoyed a variety of talks from beauty, hair and business professionals, including skin care entrepreneur and author Liz Earle MBE; Janna Ronert, founder of Image Skincare; Salon Educator and Social Media expert Sophia Hilton; and Tom Chapman, Stylist and founder of the Lions Barber Collective who delivered a talk on mental health.

Business coaches offered insights into their experiences included Derek Anthony, Jill Ruone, Jason Everett and Dennis Van Lierop.

Customer service advice was given by David Lynch from the Ritz Carlton Leadership Center whilst Roxie Nafousi guided attendees through her guide to the seven steps in powerful manifestation.

Phorest also revealed their latest product feature innovations to boost retail revenues, attract clients and deliver better business reporting.

The event was hosted by Ronan Perceval, Phorest CEO, who commented:

“Our ambition to move back to an in-person event has proved hugely successful with a 25% increase in our customers flying into Dublin. We have a very ambitious and hardworking salon and spa community who work with true grit and determination. Nothing beats the power of the collective and the opportunities the Salon Owners Summit provides to network, learn and share in-person is very powerful.
