APG Tech introduces targeted, non-invasive body treatments
APG Tech has launched HIT (High Intensity Treatment), a device developed to address key body concerns through non-invasive technology.
Using high-intensity pressure acoustic waves, HIT is designed to treat cellulite, skin laxity and localised fat. With increasing client demand for results-driven treatments that require no recovery time, the device provides clinics with a flexible option for body contouring services.
The system works through a pneumatic propulsion mechanism. A built-in compressor drives a projectile within the handpiece to strike a 35mm concave metal transducer. This produces radial acoustic waves that spread through the tissue in a broad, umbrella-shaped formation.
Through repeated mechanical stimulation, the technology acts on both the skin and underlying fat layers. This process supports metabolic stimulation, helping reduce fat build-up while improving overall skin texture and smoothness.
Suitable for use on the stomach, thighs, buttocks, upper arms and lower legs, HIT enables practitioners to treat multiple areas effectively.
The device has been developed with usability in mind, featuring a light, ergonomic handpiece to support precise treatment delivery with minimal effort. Pressure levels can be adjusted to suit individual client needs, allowing for a personalised approach across both sensitive and more targeted areas.
Case study results have demonstrated visible improvements in skin smoothness and body contouring, including a reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Continued skin tightening has also been observed for up to two months following treatment.
