UV steriliser launch is breath of fresh air

Salons have gone above and beyond recently to ensure premises comply with COVID-secure regulations so that our industry can operate safely within government guidelines. For those looking to go a step further, Sayoil has introduced the UV-C Air Steriliser for decontamination of air.

The UV-C Air Steriliser works quickly, sterilising as much as 60m3 of air in one hour. Developed in Germany, the unit uses ultraviolet (UV) radiation to silently and continuously sterilise the air. It can be used whilst people are in the treatment room and/or reception area effectively and safely, and eliminates 99.9% of bacteria and germs.

Air Flow UV-C Sterilisers have undergone tests at Columbia University, with research demonstrating that such devices, meeting basic safety requirements, effectively eliminate viruses without any adverse effects on people.
