The Gelbottle Inc. reveal colour changing gels
The Gelbottle Inc. has introduced TGB TEMPtations, three new colour-changing gels that really turn the heat up on your gel polish manis and pedis!
The three shades include pink (Allure), bold blue (Indulge) and green (Pride) shades which shift in intensity as the temperature changes, enabling you to easily create stunning ombré nails.
The gels are formulated using Thermochromic pigments which change when exposed to heat from light or water.
Ifra Siddique, Compliance Director at TGB, explains:
“It's not magic, it's TGB TEMPtations. Thermochromic pigments in the formula react to temperature changes by altering their molecular structure, resulting in colour changes. When cold, the molecular structure becomes clear, allowing the natural colour of the gel to shine through. Then when you introduce heat, through water or light, the molecules become white, changing the colour of the gel completely.“
Apply as usual and once cured, rinse clients nails under cold water to ‘reset' the polish so it can then be activated by heat.
