Software firm enters Marketplace100 list

Salon software firm Fresha has been placed on the Marketplace100 list for the first time, entering at number 43.

Delivered by Californian Venture Capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, Marketplace100: 2022 ranks the world's largest consumer-facing marketplace start-ups and private companies. 

Companies on the list are ranked using data based on marketplace activity scores Including GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), per Bloomberg Second Measure (for companies that Bloomberg Second Measure tracks), as well as Apptopia data for app performance and SimilarWeb data for website traffic.

Commenting on their ranking, Fresha founder and CEO William Zeqiri, says:

Fresha Is a subscription-free service used by over 60,000 partners and 200,000 hair, beauty and wellness professionals, which has processed 450 million appointments via its consumer-facing website and app to date.
