Sisters launch Irish peat-based skin care
Oíche Apothecary, a new ethical Irish skincare range formulated with 100% organic locally and ethically sourced Irish peat, has been launched.
Created by sisters Lorna Stewart and Aisling Boyle (pictured), who are passionate about reviving the ancient knowledge of our ancestors in caring for skin, Oíche Apothecary uses ingredients sourced from Glenasmole Valley in the Dublin hills, home of the fabled Tír na nÓg or Land of Youth reputed to be the entrance to the Celtic Otherworld.
Products are inspired by the skin's ability to regenerate and repair whilst we sleep, with the name ‘Oíche' (pronounced Eee-ha) being the Irish word for ‘night'. Using 100% organic Irish peat packed with naturally occurring organic nutrients, amino acids, Humic acid, Fulvic acid, phytohormones and vitamins, Oíche Apothecary products aim to repair, calm and brighten skin.
Launch products in the
Oíche Apothecary range include Midnight Dew Sheet Mask and Twilight Dreams Sheet Mask, both of which are biodegradable with fully recyclable packaging.
