Salon System nail expert Julie-Anne Lariviére has created an Hibiscus French Step by Step using her new GELLUX Free Spirit collaboration shades…

Step One

Prepare nails by pushing back cuticles, trimming excess, shaping the free edge, and buffing the nail plate with a white block. Dust well and wipe thoroughly with Nail+File Spray(£8.30+VAT). Apply Fast Bond (£5.85+VAT), let dry for 30 seconds then apply 2 coats of Light Natural Builder Gel (£11.95+VAT), cure for 60 seconds in between layers (LED).

 Step 2

Create a French tip using Go with The Flow (£11.95+VAT), cure for 30 seconds.

Step 3

Dip a fine liner in Run Wild with Me (£11.95+VAT) and create the outlines of the petals for your hibiscus flowers. Do not Cure. Using the same fine liner, swipe your brush in a downward motion from the top of the petal to the centre of the flower. Cure.

Step Four

Using the same fine liner, swipe your brush in a downward motion from the top of the petal to the centre of the flower. Cure.

Step Five

Repeat the same process using Glorious & Free (£11.95+VAT), cure

Step 6

Now dip a fine liner into Be A-Maize-ing (£11.95+VAT) and do the same swipe motion as before into the centre of each petal, cure.

Step 7

Using a sitting tool, apply small dots of Free Spirit (11.95+VAT) and Maple Dreams Come True (£11.95+VAT) to the centre of each flower, cure again. Finish with Mirror Glaze Top Coat (£11.95+VAT) cure for 60-90 seconds. Wipe the nails with Prep and Wipe and apply cuticle oil.
