Platinum reveals heated hair styling brush

Irish hair extension brand, Platinum Luxury Hair Extensions, has launched a new heated hair styling tool to enable clients to create salon-style hair from home. 

Developed during the first lockdown period in March, The Air Brush is a heated hairbrush created by Platinum Luxury Hair Extensions' founder, Onagh O' Driscoll, who had to close the doors of her three salons in Dublin, Cork and Galway due to COVID-19 restrictions. 

Commenting on the launch The Air Brush, Platinum Luxury Hair Extensions Managing Director, Onagh O' Driscoll, says: 

“A lot of clients get a blow dry once a week in one of our salons. With the lockdown, this was no longer possible. I saw an opportunity to bring a hair tool to market that would help our clients create a full-bodied, bouncy blow-dry at home. The Air Brush is designed to dry, volumize and style your hair in one, simple step. It is so easy to use and adds big volume.”

Hair and beauty influence Ellie Kelly (pictured), one of Platinum's main brand ambassadors, has agreed to be the face of Platinum's first hair tool. She says:

“I was so excited to launch The Air Brush with Platinum as I am a self-confessed hair volume addict - I love it!”

Onagh O' Driscoll also recently opened the doors to Platinum Luxury Hair Extensions' new Headquarters in South Dublin which includes an open plan style office, warehouse, Instagram room, photo lab and training academy.
