Phytomer reveal Cyfolia Organic skincare line
Phytomer has launched a new facecare line, Cyfolia Organic, made using 98% naturally-derived ingredients including organic Cyfolia algae on the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay in Brittany, France.
Certified Cosmos Organic by Ecocert Greenlife, the three products in the Cyfolia Organic collection include Radiance Cleansing Cream, Radiance Exfoliating Cream flecked with natural exfoliating particles, and Radiance Hydra-Comforting Cream to soothe and nourish skin whilst enhancing radiance.
The Cyfolia marine algae used in the formulations is cultivated in Phytomer's own laboratories or out on the open sea to ensure absolute purity and to sustainably preserve natural marine resources.
Commenting on the launch of the new Cyfolia Organic range, Mathilde Gédouin-Lagarde, Marketing Director and granddaughter of Phytomer's founder, says:
“The Phytomer brand is synonymous with natural cosmetics – our name means ‘plants from the sea'. From the very beginning, we have always focused on using natural ingredients from the sea in our high-tolerance skincare formulas that keep skin beautiful, healthy and full of vitality. It's not just a passing fad. It's part of our DNA. It is also why we chose to launch our first organic line in the early 2000s.
“Today, we have created an organic line for the most discerning enthusiasts of clean cosmetics. It's our way of reaffirming our faith in the power of nature and proving that faith with an essential, high-quality cosmetics line that is Ecocert-certified, pleasant to use, and ultra-effective.
“A large number Phytomer products contain a high percentage of naturally-derived ingredients that weren't previously recognized as organic by certification organizations; sea algae in particular was only certified very recently.
“Sea algae has just recently been named a certified organic category, which means our commitment to providing safe, natural formulas can now have the recognition it deserves.
“More than ever, we believe that nature is a luxury and that the sea remains an infinite source of beauty and good health.”
