Mavala develop sustainable polish collection
Mavala has launched its first range of biosourced and sustainable nail polishes, named after rivers from across the world.
The Mavala Mini Bio Colors Nail Collection is formulated with four plant and mineral-based raw materials which make up between 85-87% of the polish's natural origin ingredients (depending on the shade).
These ingredients include biosourced solvents from renewable farming resources such as sugar cane, rice and beetroot. Nitrocellulose resin is obtained from wood pulp, plasticiser Triethyl Citrate from corn and beetroot, and Stearalkonium Bentonite from crushed clay to ensure a consistent colour and texture.
