Matis crown Student of the Year winners
Students from Blackrock Further Education Institute triumphed at this year's Matis Student of the Year 2018/19 competition.
Five students finalists battled it out for two prestigious winners' places, and were judged on their facial techniques, Matis technical and product knowledge, and appearance.
“The standard was extremely high and the judges had a very difficult job,” say Matis' Irish distributor, Star Products International.
Rebecca Gilson and Jessica Burke of Blackrock Further Education Institute were named the winners.
As part of their prize, the students will travel with tutors Siobhan Dunne and Gillian Byrne, and Star Products International's Andrea Ni Ealaithe and Barbod Kavanagh, to Matis' head office in Ave Foch in Paris.
