Kiss of Red: Nail art with Gelish & Morgan Taylor

Get your creative juices flowing with this nail art step by step using the Gelish and Morgan Taylor Forever Fabulous Marilyn Monroe Holiday/ Winter 2018 collection.

Step 1: After completing your Gelish nail prep, apply a thin coat of Gelish Arctic Freeze to the entire nail making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. Repeat for full coverage. Next, apply Gelish Top It Off and cure for 30 seconds. With Gelish Nail Surface Cleanse and Wipe It Off lint-free wipes, cleanse the inhibition layer of the nail.

Step 2: Using Striping Tape, place the strip diagonally across the nail. Apply a coat of Gelish Black Shadow on a sponge and lightly dab on the strip.

Step 3: Place an additional Striping Tape and repeat application. Cure for 30 seconds. Apply Top It Off

and cure for 30 seconds.

Step 4: On the other side of the nail, place a strip diagonally down the nail and lightly tap on the strip.

Step 5: Place an additional Striping Tape and repeat application. Cure for 30 seconds.

Step 6:  Using A Kiss From Marilyn and a Mini Striper Brush, paint lips near the free edge.

Step 7: Using Black Shadow and the Mini Striper Brush, outline the nail and create a beauty mark above the lip. Cure for 30 seconds.

Step 8: Apply Top It Off to the entire nail making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds.

Step 9: With Nail Surface Cleanse and Wipe It Off lint-free wipes, cleanse the inhibition layer of the nail.

Step 10: Finish your look by massaging Nourish Cuticle Oil into the skin surrounding the nail plate.
