Eminence supports developing countries
Organic spa brand, Eminence, has revealed that, in line with their eco credientials, they will be planting one tree for every product sold globally.
From seed stage upwards, the power of plants are harnessed in all of Eminence's skin care products, which use biodynamic and organic ingredients.
So far, over 12 million products have been sold across the world, with a tree being planted for each via the Forests for the Future initiative. The programme, in partnership with the non-profit organisation Trees for the Future, helps train farmers in developing countries on how to build productive and sustainable Forest Gardens. Eminence's initiative supports rural communities, empowering local people to restore their environment, grow their own food and build a sustainable income and future.
Ingredients for Eminence's products are grown on the company's certified organic farm in Hungary, which are powered by solar and wind energy, with natural compost used during planting, and harvesting conducted manually to decreate CO2 emissions. Products are packaged in eco-friendly ways, and even distributed using hybrid vehicles.
Eminence also reward their partners spas who actively engage in environmentally friendly practices, recogising them as ‘green spas' on their Spa Locator map.
