Carlow-based beauty brand wins big at green beauty awards

Irish brand Jo Browne is celebrating after scooping seven accolades at the Global Green Beauty Awards 2023.

Based in Co. Carlow, the brand's handmade skincare pairs sustainable credentials with high-performance natural ingredients. Jo Browne (pictured) successfully launched her eponymous brand in 2016 with the launch of a natural solid perfume as her first product.

At this year's Global Green Beauty Awards, Jo Browne Natural Facial Cleansing Balm with Organic Camellia Oil scooped the Gold Award for Best Essential Oil Product, whilst Jo Browne Daily Hydrating Moisturiser with Bakuchiol and Organic Rosehip also took Gold in the Best Moisturiser category.

Jo Browne Luxury Body Oil with exotic Mangosteen Oil achieved a Silver Award in the Aromatherapy category. 

Bronze Awards were handed to Jo Browne Ultimate Body Cream with Meadowfoam and Organic Rosehip Oil in the Best Vegan Body Product category and Jo Browne Natural Solid Cologne in the Best Men's Product category.  

Jo Browne Calm to Sleep Night Time Body Oil was Highly Commended in the Best Sleep Product category.

The Global Green Beauty Awards celebrate the best sustainable beauty brands, with judges considering product efficacy and a brand's green and clean credentials. Jo Browne was judged against over 650 branded beauty products from across the world.
