Bio-Therapeutic donates PPE to womens' shelter
Aesthetic device and skincare brand, Bio-Therapeutic, is supporting a women's shelter located close to their head quarters in Seattle.
Mary's Place provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness. The organisation operates five family centres in the Seattle area, along with a women's day centre and mobile outreach unit, offering shelter, housing services, employment services and health assistance. Mary's Place is one of the only centres that does not separate families, and has 500 beds available which are generally full every night. It also offers women without a home a place to do laundry and shower.
Bio-Therapeutic is donating a literal truckload of personal protective equipment, skin care products and other supplies to help Mary's Place further their mission of helping families experiencing homeless seek shelter, support and safety.
Commenting on their partnership with Mary's Place, Suzuki, owner and CEO of
Bio-Therapeutic says:
“We've supported Mary's Place for a number of years because of their emphasis on directly benefiting families in a wholistic way, but given the ongoing economic and housing crises as Seattle struggles with the fallout of COVID-19, we felt it was time to really increase our involvement.”
Marty Hartman,
Mary's Place Executive, adds:
“This gift of love and self-care is life changing for our guests. Feeling and looking well builds self-confidence and gives hope. We're so grateful for this gift of love and support and our growing partnership with Bio-Therapeutic!”
