Uriage has launched its Age Protect line, which includes a patented Blue Light Barrier, which is composed of plant extracts and fights cellular oxidative stress caused by high exposure to blue light. Oxidative stress damages fibroblasts and keratinocytes, causing an acceleration of skin ageing. Pearly agents act as reflectors to limit the penetration of blue light HVE waves. The range also contains a core formula highly concentrated in Uriage Thermal Water and anti-ageing active ingredients used in aesthetic medicine (retinol, hyaluronic acid).
