Bioderma reveals Photoderm Spot Age SPF 50+
Bioderma is launching new Photoderm Spot Age SPF 50+, a blend of very high protection anti UV solar filters and ingredients to prevent and correct signs of ageing including sunspots.
The formulation includes two anti-UVA filters, one anti-UVB filter and one anti-UVA/UVB filter, with an intelligent complex of active ingredients including antioxidant Vitamin C and Vitamin E, and Centella asiatica to act against signs of ageing. It also features patented Cellular Bioprotection™ which protects the genetic heritage in cells and preserves cell and tissue integrity if exposed to light radiation.
Bioderma has included ascorbyl glucoside as the most effective and most bioavailable form of Vitamin C to inhibit melanin synthesis and reduce the risk of sunspots. Vitamin C limits the amount of melanin produced (delayed pigmentation), thus reducing the risk of sunspots, and also prevents the oxidation of melanin, responsible for immediate pigmentation.
Bioderma's Photoderm Spot Age SPF 50+ gel-cream texture is water resistant and sweat resistant, and works as an excellent make-up base. It can be applied on its own, replacing a SPF 50 protection and antioxidant serum duo, or after a day cream, and can also be used following superficial laser therapy.
