Ayurveda-inspired copper facial tool launches
Beauty brand ilody, inspired by Indian Ayurvedic principles, has launched the Kansa Wand facial tool.
Based upon a traditional facial tool used 5,000 years ago, the ilody Kansa Wand has a unique dome shape which seamlessly glides across the face's delicate contours with the aim of lifting, sculpting and balancing the skin. It balances the skin's pH level thanks to its purifying properties. The wand features a copper alloy dome and teak wood handle; copper is revered in Ayurveda as having antibacterial benefits.
Aiding lymphatic drainage and stimulating the Marma points, and specifically engineered with Ayurvedic medicine in mind, the wand helps to detoxify and depuff the skin, creating a clearer complexion as it is swiped in upward movements around the contours of the face.
Commenting on the launch of the Kansa Wand, Deepika Patel, founder of
ilody, says:
“The Kansa Wand, used for centuries, is a wonderfully hand-crafted tool, using copper to treat the skin and calm inflammation. Its unique dome shape glides over the skin to help sculpt, lift, firm and soothe. I'm totally addicted to the kansa metal and its potent attributes, as well its traditional heritage.”
